Step-by-Step Guide
1. Connect Your Wallet
Wallet Connection:
Ensure your Metamask wallet is installed and set up (refer to the "Connecting a Wallet" tutorial if needed).
Navigate to the CIA.com NFT Email Marketplace website.
Click the "Connect" button at the top right corner of the page.
Authorize your Metamask wallet to connect to the marketplace.
2. Accessing Your Account
Manage Account:
Once your wallet is connected, click on the profile icon at the top right corner of the page.
Select "My Emails" from the dropdown menu to access and manage all your registered emails.
3. Editing Your Registered Emails
Email Management:
In the "My Emails" section, you can view all your registered emails.
Click on the email you wish to manage to access its details.
4. Transferring Ownership
Registrant Details:
Every email has a registrant, indicating the owner of the NFT email registration.
Only the registrant can transfer the ownership of an email.
Transfer Ownership:
Access the email info page by clicking on the email.
Click "View Details / Records."
Select "Transfer" and enter the address of the new owner.
Confirm the transfer to complete the process.
5. Extending Email Registration
Registration Period:
You can extend your email registration anytime during the registration period and within a 90-day grace period after it expires.
During the grace period, the email is reserved only for the previous registrant to extend its registration.
After the grace period, the email will be open to the public for registration.
Extend Registration:
Access the email info page by clicking on the email.
Click "View Details / Records."
Select "Extend" to update the registration period.
Confirm the extension by following the prompts.
Important Notes
Grace Period: Utilize the 90-day grace period to extend your registration to avoid losing your email.
Transfer Security: Ensure the new owner’s address is correct before confirming the transfer to prevent any loss of ownership.
Regular Updates: Keep your email registrations updated and manage your account regularly to avoid any disruptions.
